Hello, it’s TGIF day! : )
If you are thinking of brunch-ing out this lazy weekend, how about Hummerstons?
It’s PS Cafe-ish chic, and judging from the full house that Saturday, it’s not losing in the popularity race either. Menu is more extensive than expected; besides the usual eggy and pancakes stuff, there’s also pasta, burgers and tacos if you fancy heartier options~
Everyone cleaned their plates; partly due to the hunger factor (brunch after 2pm is late), I suspect. Not discrediting the chefs at work, of course. My sardou was great, especially the artichokes (we need more of those around) and old American classic creamed spinach. Not so the buttermilk biscuits though; skip those tasteless things.

Eggs Sardou ($24++)
Poached eggs, hollandaise, roasted artichokes, new orleans style mushroom and creamed spinach, homemade buttermilk biscuit

Country Eggs Benedict ($22++)
Poached eggs, sausage gravy, homemade buttermilk biscuit

The Hummerstons Breakfast ($24++)
Scrambled eggs, bacon, smoked pork and garlic sausage, mushrooms, roasted tomato, toast and fries

Steak & Eggs ($28++)
Char-grilled USDA prime flat iron, poached eggs, truffle fries
