Meaning “green house” in Italian and aptly located in Botanic Gardens, Casa Verde in the day is a casual cafe where you order and pay at the counter. I’m generally skeptical of menus that feature both local favourites (think laksa, mee goreng, fried Hokkien mee) and western fare cuz it’s usually a case of ‘jack of all trades, master of none’. But I guess the QC is pretty good, and I can honestly say that I really enjoyed our impromptu lunch here : )
