After cyber-drooling over all the photos on Instagram, we finally made our way to The Bakery Chef last Sunday evening before the attack of Monday Blues! They’ve got caramel apple pancake and waffles but we were gunning for the mudpie (because we haven’t had one for so long)! The glorious slice of cookies and cream ice cream drizzled with chocolate sauce may look like a sugar bomb but surprisingly, the level of sweetness didn’t hit the roof! Just nice enough for us to lick off every cookie crumb and morsel off the plate haha. We also tried the chocolate guanaja mousse cake (K thinks fruity cakes are lame so we always get choc desserts) and liked it so much that he promptly ordered the other (what else) chocolatey cake available – praline delight, which we liked even more!
And guess what, Monday Blues were not too bad the next day.
